You’re not only hiring a student. You’re hiring potential.
Carleton co-op students can bring the skills, talent and knowledge you need to drive your organization forward. Our flexible and employer-friendly co-op program has a 30-year history of matching Carleton’s top talent with North America’s top employers.
With more than 3,000 students in co-op work terms each year, we make it our business to prime graduates for your workplace needs. We connect motivated, high-achieving students from over 100 programs with employers who are looking for new talent and skills.
Employers can hire students for 4, 8, 12 and 16-month work terms to best suit their staffing needs. Employers may also be eligible for government funding for hiring co-op students. The Ontario Co-operative Education Tax Credit, for example, is equal to an eligible percentage (25% to 30%) of the eligible expenditures incurred by a corporation for a qualifying work placement, with a maximum credit of $3,000 for each qualifying work placement.
