Social media is an effective way to keep up to date on news and stay connected with friends and organizations from around the world—including Carleton University. But social media can be daunting for those of us who are less familiar with it.
We invite you to join us this August for a two-part social media training series for retirees and older alumni led by Carolyn Goodman, alumna and president of Goodman Marketing.
These sessions will provide an overview of popular social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram) with the goal of helping you leverage social networks to stay connected with Carleton and your peers. Topics will include setting up your account(s), best practices, making connections and engaging with content.
Social Media Training for Alumni and Retirees
Date: Wednesday August 11, 2021 and Wednesday, August 25, 2021

**If you know a Carleton graduate or retiree who would like to attend but who did not receive this invitation, we invite you to share the event details with them.
